Herbaceous plant of the same name belonging to the Solanaceae family.
Description
Fruit usually square shape of medium / large size, of smooth and firm skin, very meaty, yellow, red or green and sweet flavour.
Varieties: The most commercialized variety is the California type, although Avocitrus also commercializes the Lamuyo variety from Almeria when it is season.
Seasonality: We can find them throughout the year, the best being collected in autumn, winter and
spring. From October to June.

Round shape with a similar appearance to the cherries, has a diameter between 1 and 3cm, its weight oscillates between 10 and 15gr., They are usually of several colours although the most common is the intense red colour and its flavour is less acid and sweeter than the traditional tomato.

Leaves wide, erect, medium green, embossed. Form large buds, very uniform.
